Initiatives for Resource Recycling and Waste Reduction
We promote the recycling of waste and work to reduce the amount of industrial waste discharged. Our factory recycles waste containing plastic and metal, as well as corrugated cardboard to raise the recycling rate. The Quality and Environmental Management Committee reviews the recycling rate every year.
Initiatives to Reduce Water Use and Reuse Water
To conserve water resources, we focus on the reduction of water use and the reuse of water. We reuse some of the pure water used in the manufacturing process as raw water for producing more pure water. To increase the recycling rate, we have introduced additional filtration facilities, etc., which systematically increase the recycling rate and reduce the usage of industrial water.
In addition, we have also been striving to reduce pure water usage by improving the efficiency of the wafer reclamation process.
